I. Respiratory Therapy Services

24/7 Availability

  • Mechanical ventilator management
  • Ventilator alarm monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Tracheostomy management and airway clearance
  • Oxygen therapy monitoring and titration per physician order
  • CPAP/BiPAP oversight
  • Emergency airway response
  • Respiratory assessments
  • Equipment troubleshooting
  • Clinical documentation and reporting

RT staff maintain competency in high-acuity airway management and emergency escalation protocols.

II. Registered Nursing Services

24/7 Availability

  • Comprehensive nursing assessments
  • Ventilator oversight in collaboration with RT

CNA staff operate strictly under RN supervision and do not perform skilled nursing or respiratory clinical decision-making.

IV. Oxygen Therapy Management and Coordination

  • Compliance monitoring with prescribed oxygen therapy
  • Oxygen safety education
  • Coordination with licensed DME providers
  • Clinical documentation

Clarification: VSRS does not sell, rent, or distribute durable medical equipment. All equipment procurement remains under licensed DME vendors.

V. Mobile Phlebotomy Services

  • Venipuncture

  • Laboratory coordination
  • Documentation

Clarification: VSRS does not perform laboratory testing or interpretation.

VI. Clinical Supply Continuity Support

VSRS may maintain limited consumable supplies to prevent interruption of medically necessary care in urgent circumstances.

Examples include:

  • Tracheostomy kits
  • Suction catheters
  • Ventilator circuits
  • Humidification components
  • Enteral consumables

Clarification: VSRS is not a DME vendor. Durable equipment remains coordinated through authorized vendors.

All temporary supply continuity is clinically justified and documented.

VII. Specialized Medical Support Transportation

Transport to:

  • Medical appointments

  • Hospital follow-ups
  • Community integration activities

Transportation parameters:

  • Non-emergency only
  • Commercially insured vehicles
  • Staffed based on clinical needs
  • Designed to maintain health and safety during transit

VSRS does not provide ambulance or 911 response services.

DME Coordination

Complete durable medical equipment setup, maintenance, and supplier coordination for ventilators, oxygen systems, and supplies.

Care Plan Development

Individualized care plans with ongoing assessment, documentation, and coordination with healthcare providers and case managers.
